Effective December 31, 2024, CITF has made the decision to eliminate physical Training Verification Cards (TVCs).

Reason for Change:
With the move to a digital curriculum, members will now access training materials and TVC information through the UBC Member Portal. This transition will streamline the process and provide easier access to training records.

Important Information:

• Account Creation: Members can create an account on the UBC Member Portal. Once their account is created, they will have access to all the information previously found on the physical TVCs, including training history and certifications.
• Current Cards: Existing physical TVCs will remain valid until they are lost or damaged. If needed, a PDF replacement card, can be provide by contacting the local training fund.
• Support: To assist members with the transition, we have created 11×17 posters that explain how to access the Member Portal and TVC information. These posters can be posted at local unions and training centers. (Please note, currently the app for Android devices is not working. We will update the posters with that QR code once it is fixed.)
